OC-1 Clinic w/Grace Hardy & Candice Appleby – Dana Point Dec 14th

Come join Dana Outrigger teammates and 2024 Catalina Crossing Champions Grace Hardy & Candice Appleby for an informative, user-friendly, two-hour OC-1 Clinic. This clinic is aimed to help you gain more confidence in your paddling by teaching you various stroke drills, proper body mechanics, and how to handle your equipment with ease so you have more fun on the water. (12 Participant Max).

Topics Include:

• Equipment management; proper rigging, carrying canoe (in wind and in general).
• Stroke Technique; Catch drills, stroke rate drills and efficiency.
• Body Mechanics; Lat, Hip & Feet Engagement.
• Fun Stuff; Bracing, and Ama Flying.

Location: Baby Beach, Dana Point Harbor, Dana Point, CA

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to check-in. Give yourself ample time to park and prepare your equipment.
